About
I have called Whitney home for 15 years. Creative arts and communication have been my focus, while enjoying the outdoors and protecting our natural world are my passions. I love spending time on Galeairy Lake with my dog, Keene, and supporting our community through volunteering with local seniors, hospice, and Meals on Wheels. I value tradition and welcome new ideas.
Why I'm Running
“The best council is one that puts residents first and leaves the community stronger than they found it”
Clarity and transparency Documents and legal lingo can seem like a foreign language. I will be your translator.
Public information will be made available to you and explained so easily understood. Fair and responsible Where did your tax dollars go? I will work with other members of council to spend your money in a responsible manner.
Small Business owners
We need to work together with all groups and individuals to create the environment for success. Housing, services, staffing, promotions, bylaws, taxes… let’s talk.
Feel powerless and unheard?
You need someone on council who will listen to you and take action for you.
I have lived in Whitney for 15 years. What I hear is a need for more clear communication and less reliance on rumour and misinformation.
Key Priorities
Clarity and Transparency
I will work to make public information accessible and easy to understand, helping residents navigate municipal documents and processes.
Responsible Spending
I will work with fellow council members to spend your tax dollars responsibly and explain how your money is being used.
Supporting Local Businesses
I want to bring businesses, residents, and community groups together to address local challenges and create opportunities through arts, tourism, and our location beside Algonquin Park.
Listening to Residents
I will listen to your concerns, represent you fairly, and take action on the issues that matter to you. Clear communication will help reduce rumours and misinformation in our community.

Where I Stand
I believe council should put residents first and leave the community stronger than it found it. Residents deserve clear information, responsible spending, and representatives who listen and act on their concerns.
I support working together to help local businesses succeed, strengthen the arts, and encourage visitors to spend time in our community. I value our history, traditions, and natural environment while remaining open to new ideas that help South Algonquin thrive.
