Barnard Baker
Bernard “Barney” Baker is running for Mayor of South Algonquin with a focus on protecting existing services, supporting local businesses, creating jobs, and planning responsibly for future growth. A retired Royal Canadian Air Force officer with decades of technical and leadership experience, Barney later managed training for Canadarm2 aboard the International Space Station. Having owned property here for more than 40 years, he now calls Whitney home and wants to serve the community he loves.
